5-day training in Sound Healing

Nestled amidst the evergreen nature of the Algarve, our five-day sound healing training awaits you, immersing you in the world of healing sounds. Under the professional guidance of multi-instrumentalist Frank Peschke, an experienced sound healing teacher with years of sound expertise , you will learn how to professionally create sound journey sessions and sound baths using gongs, singing bowls, handpan, monochord, shruti box, voice, and many other natural instruments.

This sound training comprises 50 hours of theory and practice and is suitable for both beginners and those already working with bodywork, yoga, or therapeutic approaches. No prior knowledge is required – just openness and curiosity. We provide the instruments, and you will receive a certificate upon request. In addition to practical application, you will learn about the effects of frequencies, the nervous system, grounding, intention, and how to create a healing environment.

This unique sound workshop week is ideal for anyone who wants to develop personally, work with sound, or explore a new professional field. The number of participants is limited to ensure a personal and intensive learning environment.

Training content & focus areas

You begin with a thorough introduction to the history of sound healing – its roots, traditional applications, and cultural background. Building on this foundation, you will gain in-depth theoretical knowledge about the effects of sound on body, mind, and soul – scientifically sound and explained in an accessible way.

In order to use sound for healing purposes, you will learn how to work energetically: techniques for grounding, protection and conscious alignment create the basis for a safe and harmonious setting.

An important part of the training is working with the voice. You will discover your own vocal timbre , receive an introduction to overtone singing, and learn how singing, meditation, or affirmations can be meaningfully integrated into sound journeys.

You will receive intensive practical training in the use of singing bowls – both Himalayan and crystal singing bowls. You will learn various playing techniques and their therapeutic applications.

In addition, you will practice with a variety of natural instruments – including gongs, handpans, flutes, shruti box, monochord, drums, wind chimes, ocean drum, rainsticks and many more.

A key element of the training is the design of your own sound baths: You will learn how to design and safely lead a sound journey for groups or individuals .

The course concludes with a practical exam on site – followed by a formal presentation of your certificate.

When? From April 16th to 20th, 2026 ( extension of accommodation possible)
The group size is a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 15 participants.
The Sound Healing training takes place at our Quinta Algarve location.
The price is €1299.00 per person ( 10% early bird discount for bookings made up to 6 months before the start of the training).
Included services: Intensive sound healing training (theory and practice), accommodation in double rooms (single room supplement is €190.00), daily vegetarian meals, teaching materials, use of all instruments included, certificate of completion upon request
