Nestled in the rolling hills of the Serra de Monchique, a natural paradise in the Algarve, lies our small Quinta – a truly Portuguese country house dating back to the 17th century , which we have lovingly restored with great attention to detail. Like a small castle, it sits enthroned above fragrant herb meadows, wildflower landscapes, olive groves, and blooming bougainvillea – an idyllic holiday retreat far from the hustle and bustle of hectic civilization.

Just a short walk from the picturesque village of Monchique, you'll find a special retreat that is both simple and unique. Our rooms – whether single, double, triple, or family – exude the charm of bygone eras while offering modern, minimalist comfort.

Around the Quinta, a spacious garden (18,000 sq m), cozy seating areas, and hammocks under shady trees invite you to relax and unwind. The well-maintained freshwater pool sparkles in the sun. And if that's too tame for you, you can set off on a hike or e-bike tour through the mountainous landscape of the Algarve.

Quinta Algarve is nestled in the rolling green hills of the Serra de Monchique – a haven for families, nature lovers, and those seeking tranquility. At an altitude of approximately 460 meters, our guests enjoy fresh mountain air, a pleasantly mild climate year-round , and lush vegetation including eucalyptus trees, lavender, olive trees, and fruit trees.

The dreamy little town of Monchique can be reached in a few minutes on foot and impresses with its small taverns, traditional handicrafts, good restaurants and an authentic Portuguese atmosphere .

The entire area offers numerous hiking trails , unspoiled nature, hidden picnic spots, and opportunities for discovery and wonder. Also always worth a day trip: the popular thermal springs of Caldas de Monchique.

And the golden sandy beaches are not far away either: In just 30 minutes by car you can reach the turquoise sea on the south or west coast of the Algarve – perfect for swimming, surfing or for long walks along the wild rocky coasts.

In addition, two charming, detached apartment cottages are available for our guests. "Casa Vreni" boasts a stunning view of the pool, while "Casa Galo," nestled in lush greenery, invites you to relax and unwind. Both apartments can accommodate up to four people and feature a private bathroom, a practical kitchenette, and a cozy terrace – ideal for relaxing days surrounded by the Portuguese countryside.
